2025 FICA &MK Dey application form

OverView

Eligibility criteria for the awards of fellowship (FICA 2025) are as follows   

•     PG degree in Anaesthesiology – MD, DNB, FRCA or equivalent degree 

•    20 years post PG experience

(One young FICA is awarded every year, at post PG 15 years of experience, as per the decision of the ICA Academic Committee)

•    Life member of ICA 

•    Attended a minimum of 3 ICA conferences (2 previous National, 1 local). To give their vision for ICA's progress and how they propose to improve ICA over the next 5 years. Preferably, also a 1-day event to be promised within the year of the FICA award by the recipient

•    Publications – National / International / Chapter in Book / Book     
 

M K Dey Award 2025
The eligibility criteria for the MK Dey award are as follows:
a) An individual should be a postgraduate in Anaesthesiology (MD/DNB), below 45 years of age, and should possess a minimum of 15 years of experience after post-graduation

b) Should be a member of the Indian College of Anaesthesiologists for at least 2 years on the date of presenting the application

c) The individual should have exceptional credentials, including publication and academic contributions to the specialty

d) The individual should be involved in socio-medical activities 

e) Should have participated in 2 ICA educational events in the past 5 years, either as an attendee or faculty member

f) The awardee is to continue to participate in the ICA activities

The application made on the accompanying format and recommended by a fellow of the ICA or
Board of Trustees of ICA or HOD of the institution where the individual is working (if HOD is an ICA
Member).
